Four-star 247Sports prospect Isaiah Wynn (Saint Petersburg, Fla./Lakewood) has emerged as one of the top offensive linemen in the Sunshine State.
Isaiah Wynn hopes to visit the Tigers in the near future.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound recruit has several offers [many coming lately], including one from Missouri, which he received last month.
The Tigers are in good shape at the moment with the Top247 target, and could get him on campus before he makes his commitment.
“I’ve been talking with Missouri’s Coach (Brian) Jones and would like to visit them in the summer,” Wynn told 247Sports.
Wynn says five programs are standing out to him at the moment, and Missouri, which has had recruiting success in Florida in the past, is one of them. His relationship with Jones and the appeal of the Southeastern Conference makes Missouri high on his interest of schools.
“Right now my top five would be UCF, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Florida State and Arkansas," Wynn said. "I've been building a good relationship with their staff members."
Wynn is the No. 182 overall prospect in the 247Sports rankings. He's No. 470 in the 247Compositive.
He projects as a guard in college.
On Monday, Wynn spoke to UCF defensive backs coach Kirk Callahan, Tennessee offensive line coach Don Mahoney and North Carolina offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic. He hopes to check out one program that sits in his top five later this month.
“Vanderbilt has been showing a lot of interest in me and really wants me to come," Wynn said. "My mom thought it would be a great time to visit them during my spring break."
Wynn added that while he hoped to have his decision made after his senior season is over, it is possible that he could make a commitment by the end of the summer.
